The material selection is generally based on carbon steel, but also can be processed with aluminum alloy, copper, nylon and other materials according to customer's requirements; if the outer diameter of the pulley is greater than 250mm, generally use cast iron. The characteristics of arc gear transmission:

1) The arc gear transmission trial meshing transmission, the value is suitable for helical gears, but not for spur gears.
2) The relative radius of curvature is larger than the involute, and the contact strength is higher than the involute.
3) The sensitivity to center distance changes is greater than the involute curve. During processing, the cutting depth is required to be high, radial displacement cutting is not allowed, and assembly errors are strictly controlled.

1) The arc cylindrical gears are divided into single arc gears and double arc gears. The contact line strength of single arc gears is higher than that of involute gears under the same conditions, but the bending strength is lower than that of involutes.
2) Single arc gear transmission: The working tooth profile of the convex tooth of the pinion is outside the pitch circle, and the center of the tooth profile is on the pitch circle; the working tooth profile of the concave tooth of the large gear is inside the pitch circle, and the center of the tooth profile is slightly off the pitch circle outside. Since the tooth profile arc radius p2 of the large gear is slightly larger than the tooth profile radius p1 of the pinion gear, when the two tooth profiles turn to point K and their common normal passes through node c, the teeth touch and separate immediately, but are adjacent to it The tooth profile of the other end face of the gear immediately touches, that is, the two gear teeth K1, Kˊ1, K2, Kˊ2, K3, Kˊ3 ... each point in turn touches along the meshing line. Therefore, the concave and convex tooth profiles on either end of the arc gear are only used for instantaneous meshing. A pair of new arc gears is in theory instantaneous point meshing, so arc gear transmission is also often called arc point meshing gear transmission. After the gear teeth are run-in, the tooth profile can actually be in contact with a relatively long line along the tooth height. The characteristics of arc gear transmission are: (1) The comprehensive radius of curvature is much larger than that of involute gear transmission, and its contact strength is about 0.5 to 1.5 times higher than that of involute gear transmission; (2) The two teeth are along the direction of the meshing line. The rolling speed is very high, the oil film is easy to form between the tooth surfaces, the transmission efficiency is high, generally up to 0.99～0.995; (3) The arc gear wears evenly along the tooth height direction, and it is easy to run in; (4) The arc gear has no root Cut phenomenon, so the minimum number of teeth can be less. However, arc gears are very sensitive to errors in center distance, tooth cutting depth, and helix angle. These three errors have a greater impact on the load-bearing capacity. Therefore, arc gears require higher manufacturing and installation accuracy. In addition, the bending strength of the teeth of the single arc gear is weak; cutting the large and small gears of the same module requires two different hobs.
3) Double arc gear transmission: When working, from one end, first the concave part of the driving gear tooth pushes the convex part of the driven gear tooth, and after leaving, the convex part pushes the concave part of the other party, so the double circular arc gear transmission In theory, there are two contact points at the same time. After running-in, this transmission actually has two contact lines, so multiple pairs of teeth and multi-point meshing can be realized. In addition, due to the large tooth root thickness, the double-arc gear transmission not only has a load capacity of about 30% higher than that of the single-arc gear transmission, but also has a smoother transmission, less vibration and noise, and can be matched with the same hob. Two gears. therefore. At high speed and heavy load, double circular arc gear transmission tends to replace single circular arc gear transmission.
2) The arc gear mainly adopts soft tooth surface or medium-hard tooth surface, and low profile teeth are generally used when hard tooth surface is adopted.
4) Design steps of arc gear transmission:
(1) Simplified design: According to the transmission power, input speed, transmission ratio and other conditions of the gear transmission, determine the main parameters such as center distance and modulus. If the center distance and modulus are known, you can skip this step.
(2) Geometric design calculation: design and calculate the basic parameters of the gear, and calculate the geometric size.
(3) Strength check: After the basic parameters are determined, accurate check of tooth surface contact strength and tooth root bending strength.
(4) If the check does not meet the strength requirements, it can be returned.

5) Purchasing instructions
1. The pulleys produced by our company are not only matched with the synchronous belts of domestically produced equipment, but also can be used in place of imported pulleys.
2. For customized timing pulleys, please provide pulley drawings (it is not necessary to draw the tooth profile size of the pulley in the figure). The company can also draw belts for users according to the specifications and models provided by the user, the inner hole of the pulley, the keyway, and the width. Wheel drawings; can also provide users with services such as surveying and mapping wheels.
3. The outer diameter tolerance, end face runout, and radial runout of the pulley conform to the requirements of Table 1 , Table 2 , and Table 3 below .
4. The width of the tooth surface of the pulleys selected for various specifications and models of synchronous belts must meet the requirements of Table 4 below .
5. The outer diameter and rib size of the pulley are selected according to the attached table.
6. The pulley specifications not listed in the attached table can also be produced by our company.
